GUACAMOLE

I could eat guacamole every single day, it is so delicious. It’s so simple and quick to make, and tastes SO much better when its homemade and fresh. Put in the extra effort to make it, its worth it.

Ingredients:
5 ripe avocados
1/4 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/2 lime juice
Pinch of salt and pepper to taste
Bag of tortilla chips

Directions:
Cut avocados in half, remove the pit with a spoon and scoop contents into a bowl. Once you have all of the contents of the avocados in your bowl take a fork and mash it against the side until you have a smooth mixture with small chunks. Now you can take the tomato and the red onion and chop them into small chunks, about 1/4 cup each, and add them to the avocado mixture. Now add the lime juice, salt, and pepper. These are just to taste so it all depends on how much you like (I tend to think that half a lime to a whole lime is perfect, and a pinch of salt and pepper). Mix it all together and grab a chip to taste it and add more salt, pepper or lime if you think it needs a little more! Once this is done get the chips and dig in!

Serves: about 5-6 people (you can make a small portion by using less avocados)

Tip: To make it easier for the mashing of the avocados make sure when you are picking them from the store that they are dark green and soft when you squeeze them in your hand.
