Today’s post is me sharing all of my favorite shampoos and conditioners and hair care tips!
I love to switch up my shampoo and conditioner because I feel like my hair gets used to the products after a little while of using it. I just finished up using Bioterra Long and Healthy Shampoo and Conditioner and I loved it. I have been using this one for quite some time now and it gives your hair the really clean salon feel without spending a fortune.
I am currently using Hask Kalahari Melon Oil Color Protection Shampoo and conditioner. I am also using the deep conditioner with this line which I use once a week and let me tell you my hair smells fantastic and it is so soft while also protecting my color treated hair. This is the first time that I have used this line of products but I love it and I know that I will continue to use it and keep it in the mix! Also try the oil, it is amazing, I love to put oil in my hair every time I wash it, I think that it makes a huge difference. I also love the price on these products!
Another shampoo and conditioner that I love is Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner. I first tried this because my hairdresser uses it and I loved the way it made my hair so soft and added so much moisture, I could barely stop touching it! I love that you can get this at Ulta so its so convenient when shopping for all of my other favorite products. These products are so good for blondes because it is gentle on the color.
And lastly my favorite shampoo and conditioner for the summertime, John Freida Sheer Blonde. It is a lightening shampoo so with every use it enhances and lightens your hair. I like to use this one in the summer time because the sun naturally lightens my hair so this just gives it that extra boost that I need!
A few tips that I have which most of you already know and do but it never hurts to have a reminder.
1. Always put oil in your hair right out of the shower it will help with hydrating and help your ends.
2. Always use a spritz to prep your hair and help de-tangle like this one, which is my favorite.
3. Comb through your hair with a wide tooth comb starting from the bottom and if it gets tough to comb through then put some more de-tangler in!
4. And lastly, never use a straightener until your hair is completely dried!
