Nighttime Beauty Routine

March 14, 2016

It is important to have a night time skin routine so that you can clean all the makeup products off your face and give your skin some time to heal overnight.

First, I take all of my makeup off using Aveeno make-up wipes. I love the feel of these wipes in my skin because they don’t leave your skin feeling waxy or filmy at all. And they don’t smell too bad either!

Second, I take a washcloth and run it under hot water and lay it over my face for about 3-5 minutes to really open up my pores and hydrate my skin.

Next, I use Pores No More, it is a gentle cleansing and clearing scrub to get into my pores and really clean them out before bed because your pores get oily and dirty as the day goes on, so it’s important to clean those out.

The next step is to use Valencia Rose Hydrating Serum, it is an ultra hydrating and goes on very thinly to hydrate the skin. The lavender in the product is used to heal the skin and prevent pimples, the bearberry helps to brighten your complexion, the rosehip seed oil helps lock in moisture and evening primrose oil helps to moisturize but it does not clog your pores which is a huge plus!

And lastly I put on Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion which i have been using for years and I love how it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. Dont forget your sleep mask when you hit the bed!

Another thing to keep in mind is to drink tons of water and get enough sleep. If you don’t do those two things then it wont matter what products you are using because they wont make any difference! So drink up! I use the app Waterlogged to help me stay on track and be motivated to drink throughout the day. Also getting a super cute water bottle always helps!

How cute are the eyelash pillow cases at the top of this post? They are very high on my Need List 😉
